Overview

Ned Yot Kez was founded durring the late 12th century in winter of the year 1051, by Vú̄shīs Ga̋ń̄̌ 'Shay Cayla' Jónv Ma̋mbónḱ Mbōtä̂ Drilriash. The establishment of Ned Yot Kez was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Ned Yot Kez's construction back out of the project. Vú̄shīs Ga̋ń̄̌ 'Shay Cayla' Jónv Ma̋mbónḱ Mbōtä̂ Drilriash pushed on reguardles, and Ned Yot Kez was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Ned Yot Kez was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the late 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ned Yot Kez is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Ned Yot Kez is is constructed arround a semi-circular premissive packed earth mainstreet, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town is protected by a series of wooden fences ringing the town's parimiter, which are likly intended to keep varrious beasts out of town rather than protect it from attack by any intelegent agents. The bare minimum defences have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.

A look around Ned Yot Kez gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring jsut long enough for it to be uncomfortable. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a town, and more like a spot people just happened to place their homes.

Cultural Notes

Ned Yot Kez's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is famous for its stately symmetry, classical elements, and grand appearance. Columns and pillars, such as Corinthian columns, are often seen supporting open structures or porticos. Symmetry is an important feature of this style, with each half of a building mirroring the other. Domed ceilings and windows grace these buildings, with everything placed in a mathematical arrangement.

In Ned Yot Kez snow is warm to the touch and does not melt within city limits. Also it only happens during summer.
